901.8.4. All new buildings or structures within the jurisdiction of the Tahoe-Douglas Fire Protection District must be provided with automatic fire sprinkler system as outlined in Chapter 9, Section 903.3 of the adopted edition of the International Fire and Building Codes, except for single family dwe11ings (R-3 and U occupancy) with less than 3,600 square feet ofhabitable space that meet fire Dowrequirements ofthe International Fire Code.
